Following the success of phase 1 of the Southmead Hospital Redevelopment Project, MCS Ltd were appointed for the MEP works on Phase 2. This included a responsibility for overall co-ordination for what is a technically challenging installation.

The project consisted of a new multi storey car park, CSSD steam plant and laboratories, offices and welfare and involved significant interface with the phase 1 works which required careful consideration and planning due to the nature of the works. We also installed a turnkey steam boiler plant facility within the existing phase 1 plantroom, this had to be carried out without interruption to existing operations.
